Canadian native and founder of Paradise Drafting John Yeo began his architectural journey after graduating from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto, where he gained experience in designing for both residential and commercial buildings. John moved to Cayman in 1997 with his wife and started working at OBM international, where he worked for just over 7 years on a whole range of projects from luxury homes to hurricane shelters, schools, and multi-story office buildings.

Over 14 years, he worked on projects such as the Cayman International School expansion, the conversion of the Margaritaville restaurant and the Flagship building in George Town. He also assisted in the design of restaurants such as Tiki Beach, Morgans, Bacaro and Karoo.
